C Drive filling up on it's own

December 28, 2011 at 16:21:41
Specs: Windows Vista
My C drive is filling up on it's own, one day it was "60GB free of 144GB", the next day it had dropped below 10GB free, it's now at 578MB free of 14GB.

I have run Panda Global Protection 2011, and Malwarebytes at different times after exposing the hidden files.
All temporary files have been deleted, all browser cookies, history, etc, and I have ran disk cleanups daily.
All system restore points have been deleted up until the most recent one, and all backups have been cleared apart from the most recent one.

I have gone through any programs I don't use often and removed them, only to have that free space taken up. It's not clear what is taking up the space, I can't find anything in the hidden files, or anywhere else on the C drive that can account for the ~80GB of space that has been swallowed up.

I recently had the systemfix virus on the computer but I corrected it and removed all trace of the virus, Malwarebytes found any files I missed.

Does anyone know the cause of this? How can I stop it?
I cannot run Disk Defragmenter, I run it and nothing happens, the window doesn't even open after the permission window.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any automatic backup features on anything that you know of.
