Machine keeps rebooting after BSOD which doesnot stay long enough to read it. So cannot give any info on this. None of the safe modes work as it BSOD prior to being able to do anything, in normal mode can only get on the desktop for a few seconds, so cannot get to device manager in time to see if there is a dodgy driver. Problem began after my sister installed alcohol 120, she said there was a security issues with a certificate but continued with the install. I am happy to do a factory reset if I can get into the system long enough to start the processs or maybe the solution would be to uninstal Alcohol but my question is how, when I can't get in for long enough to do so? Please help

Hold F8 and choose command prompt instead of safe mode. Try to delete the program that way.

If that doesn't work and you have $40 for a USB HD enclosure, use that to connect the drive to another PC.

I had this problem with my DVD drive, unplug the SATA or IDE and try again.
