Hi,
I m little confuse about how to create a bootable Vista SP1 DVD, as I ve recently installed Vista don’t know much abt it???Can Anyone plz help me……..Jenny
Jenny Clinton

All Windows Vista DVD's are already bootable.
Maybe you mean creating a slipstreamed VISTA DVD including Service Pack 1 ? if so look at:

You should have a look at vLite for Vista instead of nLite for XP. vLite does not require installation and has an user interface that is quite self-explanatory. Just choose what you want to do on the left pane. You can even integrate your Product Key into Vista DVD for unattended installation. At the end, you should create an .iso file for making and burning a bootable Vista DVD.
Just put vLite someplace on your HDD and have your Vista DVD contents copied into a folder on the HDD and the service pack 1 for Vista in another folder on the same HDD. Then just show the path to Vista folder and the path to service pack 1.
But be careful to choose your own Vista variant, I mean Home Premium or Business or Ultimate or whatever because vLite integrates service pack to just one Vista variant whereas Vista DVD includes all variants on it.
Please be advised.

I ve never used Vista before ...
Are you positive? Don't you recall posting THIS and THIS two weeks ago?

How dare you accuse Clinton of double-speak .... sorry; I just couldn't help that ;-)
Anyhow, I've also not quite been able to figure out Jenny's love/hate relationship with Vista either. One day she's loathing the OS, so much so that she wants to rid her machine of it & the next she's trying to get herself accustomed to the inner workings of it.
In the end though, I think she'll be just fine if she hung in there long enough to overcome the learning curve!

Maybe she is affected by the group that blamed Vista for everything they did incorrectly. Therefore, she wanted to get rid of Vista. Now, she is affected by another group that keep saying SP1 solved most of Vista's problems. Therefore, she wants to start over by installing Vista fresh with SP1 integrated.
Jenny, please go on and install Vista fresh. Believe me Vista with SP1 is much more stable and faster than XP with SP2 or SP3 for most people's use ( gamers are in a different category ).
There may still be problems with some drivers and software. So running the Vista upgrade advisor by MS may help you.

Dear Jenny,
I do not think anyone tried to offend you. Why should they have done that? Therefore, you should not take offense. It could at most be misunderstanding, not offending.
But if you do feel you have been offended, give the offending party your answer. Running away does not lead you anywhere.
I am sorry if I appear to be too educating.
If you have any questions regarding your original querry of integrating SP1 into Vista, please feel free to ask.
Have a nice day.
