recently ive started my pc and it gave me a checksum error and i pressed F1 to continue and when it loads up the time is changed to 00:00
any ideas

hi...this is a typical problem that occures on CMOS battery error...this time, you should change the time and forget about it...but...if the problem occures again, then you should change your CMOS battery...
