hi all .
i have dual OS , my computer is able to boot xp sp2 fine , but when i try to go to vista x64 , it shows the boot screen & goes blank b4 i get the welcome screen. i tried loading in last known good configuration , in safe mode , no hopes ... is there any other ways.. please reply if you have an answer

You are sure it is the boot screen and not the BIOS screen that you see on the monitor ?

After the boot screen, just press the reset button on the computer case and see what happens.

Finally, you can try a repair installation of Win Vista x64.
