Bad shut down message

Specs: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, 2.994 GHz / 2037 MB
When I try to start my computer it comes up with the message that my computer was shut down wrong even after I had shut it down correctly. After several trys it starts up, I have replaced the hard drive and checked the bios but can't get it to work properly. Please help

I got a similar problem but im running vista premium 64 bit. But i
believe it was a windows update that messed it up. I uninstalled
the last set, and was all good, of course it still wants to install
them again, and if that doesnt work, u can try system restore.

Yes i've noticed there being a few windows updates this month more than usual, but i do not have that problem.

i also noticed that some of the updates were for windows defender...research in new viruses and trojans must have paid off.

run in safemode, with commandprompt and run windows defender.

also use command prompt to delete temp files with

del %TMP% /a /s /q /f

because if there are any infected files or leaks the most likely place, it is to be in there
