I have an HP laptop bought 4 months ago, and had no problems with Autoplay and DVD till last week. Autoplay won't work now if I load a DVD or CD. If I click on the DVD RW Drive, this message keeps popping up "Prepare a blank disc" when the disc isn't blank (it is working on other people's laptop). What's causing the problem and how do I fix it?

try a system restore to a time BEFORE the issue happened...if that fixes it check system restore to see what updates were possibly loaded since, that may have caused the issue...
