Is it just me, or can anyone find Vista Drivers for older Asus models, such as my motherboard, the A8V-E deluxe. Also, when running vista (ultimate) and i insert the driver disk that came with my motherboard, i get several errors saying it can't execute this and that. One i remember well (since it was the first pop up) would be something about not being able to load Kernel something. At the end of all this, it asks that i get a Digitally Signed Driver from the internet, though i haven't found it. Does anyone know where it is? **note, it says it won't download my drivers without this.

I would expect VISTA to install most drivers, do you actually have missing drivers in DEVICE MANAGER ?
The best place to get DRIVERS is the actually Hardware Manufacturer, VIA, SiS, Intel whatever, not the MoBo Manufacturer

If you need the latest drivers for the ASUS A8V-E board you may want to download the Vista nForce platform drivers for the AMD processor. It has the whole bag of goodies for the M/B.

As for sound you may want to check what inbuilt sound chipset you have however I suspect it is the Realtek driver. download it from here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
