thanks to begin with : Stupid Vista !! How do I get Vista to remember the last folder I saved a song, image or file to without having to start over at the C: drive and reopen the folder again to save to. I used to be able to open a folder in XP , save (insert item) it and it would default to that folder each time I saved an item, until I changed the folder. NOW , every time I save something in the folder I wat, if I dont stay in that same window, it goes back to a C: drive and I have to go through all the folders AGAIN until I find the one I want to save it in again. This ONLY happens if I close the window out of the page I am retrieving the item from. If I download three songs form the same window, everything is good. If I download one song from the page and then close that window out, whatever I download next makes me reopen and locate the folder I want to save to. IS THIS NORMAL ? THANKS

This is normal in Vista, but if you want it to always remember where you want your save file to be saved at like in xp until you manually change the save file location to a different location you have to do the following... http://www.laptopmag.com/Features/S...
