I just installed new drivers for my video card and i got this problem where I would get a pop up when windows starts that would say: Windows will now finish installing software from the manufacture of this device ( Nvidia Geforce 8800M GTX) then it gives me two options Finish installing software (recomended) Ask me again later So I would click the first choice and it sais installed succesfuly but when I restart the computer i would get the same message again, i tried the other option but no matter what i would get the same message. I tried uninstalling and using ccleaner and reinstalling the driver again but i would get the same problem... Any ideas?

Just a thought...Are you 100% sure you have downloaded the correct drivers? I had a similar problem when configuring a users laptop, I had attempted to install the desktop version of the drivers instead of the mobile version. If you are running Vista 32-bit go to the link below and verify that you downloaded/installed this driver... http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvis... If you are running Vista 64-bit or some other OS, go to this page and walk through the search: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/inde... Also: I'm not a Vista expert so maybe someone else can correct me, however you may have to run the driver installation in an elevated privlidge mode, such as right-click the driver installation file and choose "run as administrator". I don't have a Vista machine in front of me right now but I believe that is the wording.

did you try to disable the hated pop-up baloon? Disable notification baloon anyway this doesnt cure the issue..it just eliminate the effect...you should investigate about those baloons Webamster of Web Talk Blog
