I have vista home premium, it's not a year old, but since I got it, 8 out of 10 times when I visit a web site, the bar at the bottom says "DONE" however, I have a blank page and always need to hit the (refresh/reload) buttom and then the page comes right up, what can I do to fix this.

You should optimize the internet explorer.

Open internet explorer > "Tools" menu > internet options.

In general tab, Delete all files, cookies, history.
In security tab, Set as default.
In content tab, clear SSL.
In advanced tab, click on Restore default and uncheck / remove tick mark from " Enable third party browser extensions".

Now, check.
