For some odd reason, my aol instant messenger (lite) suddenly decided to stop working on me one day. It might be a virus because it was the day I stopped using windows firewall and installed comodo in its stead. During the brief lapse, a virus might have attacked my compututer (not sure). I have tried reinstalling aim lite and also tried other instant messenging clients but none have worked. I get to the login screen and when i try to login, it doesn't let me. (it's as if I hadn't clicked at all) As of now, I'm stuck using meebo. Anyone have any advice or answers?? Greatly appreciated in advance.

Thanks
Jonathan

It could be Comodo blocking the connection. Firewalls are only supposed to block incoming connections to your PC (unless your PC initiated it) but you never know. It might not hurt to uninstall Comodo (you can always reinstall it later).
