Solved Adobe Reader Missing Font ERROR

November 24, 2013 at 10:30:00
Specs: Windows Vista
Hi, in Windows Vista/dobe reader v.10.1.8, very often get a message "Missing Font..." and this happens for any font even the most common like Times New Roman, Arial, etc. Does not substitute fonts instead it shows nothing, just the part with the font not "missing" in that instance. Sometimes it works fine with no "missing" fonts thou.
Thx fot the help.

BTW somewhere a read that deleting the adobefnt*.lst file would help. Well I have no such file in my system for some time and still the same. Cheers.

✔ Best Answer
Obvious first troubleshooting step - uninstall then re-install Adobe Reader:

Be sure to untick the freeloader McAfee Security Scan before commencing download!

Hi! An update. I just can´t get the proper link in the Adobe site. Somehow I get instead of the download link I get a link to de initial site (i.e. so it´s imposible to download the Reader program (for me anyway).
Thus, I just downloaded across the street, the Nitro pdf reader.
Thankfor the help.
Very apreciated.
