the file does not have a program association with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel

Is that a question? If you are asking how to do it then firstly you need any 'one' of these programs onboard:

PowerPoint (part of MS Office)

Impress (part of Open Office) - free

MS PDF Reader - small free program

You then direct the pdf to "Open With" whichever of the above you have available. If you have none of these then download the PDF Reader.

If the above does not help then please give more details of your problem.
