My new computer has been supplied with Vista installed. I would like to add windows XP pro and run two OS independently. Can this be done? How?
Thanks

Normally the oldest operating system has to be installed first but XP can be added to an existing Vista installation, have a look here http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/sho... or here http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_...
Also, depending on what you need XP for, keep in mind you can also run XP in a virtual machine within Vista. While that would slow down performance, you wouldn't have to reboot just to use XP, so it could be a better solution for you. Virtual PC 2007 should fit the bill for this if virtualization is a good option for you, and it's free.
