Acer laptop boots to windows error recovery s

Specs: Windows XP

im having a problem with my acer 4530
it wont boot up..

i tried couple of things on fixing it

1st was... i tried to use the bios default configurations

then it went to a WINDOWS ERROR RECOVERY SCREEN

i tried the safe mode option but what happens is it will try to load then the blue screen quickly appears and disappears... then it will got back to the old screen which would say WINDOWS RECOVERY ERROR

i also tried all the options like

last know good configurations
start windows normally..

still nothing happens

can you help me out with this please

For a start, when you get to the boot options menu, select the one that says 'disable automatic restart on system failure' - that will let you see what the blue screen is saying.

I note you've listed the OS as XP, but as this is a Vista forum I suspect it's Vista you are running (haven't seen that error message in XP anyway) in which case you need to reboot the PC from a Vista disk - this will give you tools to repair the startup. If you haven't been supplied with a Vista disk you can download a copy from numerous locations, just put 'Vista recovery disk' into Google & take your pick, make sure you choose the 32bit or 64bit version as appropriate.
