im having a prob with my acer aspire 5920.when i
srtated it, d screen says,
"windows failed to start. A recent hardwareor software
change might be the cause". then further down the
page it states
if windows files have been damaged or configured
incorrectly startup repair can help diagnose and fix the
problem.if power was interrupted during start up,
choose start windows normally
what should i do?
... tap the <F8> <key> at bootup select the repair option. ............. some (factory) recovery info here

If there's no 'repair my computer' option then you need to download the Vista Recovery disk from HERE and boot from that - it's an iso image so you'll need to burn it to a disk first. "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..." Pink Floyd
