I was setting my Sony Vaio computer back to factory settings and accidently turned it off. Now it wont turn on AT ALL. What do I do? It did not come with any disc to reformat/reset to factory settings.

✔ Best Answer
Try holding down the ALT +F10 key simultaneously when you first power on the unit, and try to restart the factory recovery process.

To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer!

If ALT +F10 doesn't work, do this.

Yet another if all else fails. Disconnect from domestic power, remove battery also if a laptop. Hold the power off/on button in for 20 seconds. Put it back together and see if it helps (sometimes unsticks things).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
