I wish to lower down the core speed of this graphic card ATI HD 3470, as it generates quite a huge amount of heat from my laptop.

IS there any mod tool for this graphic card?

Does it generate heat when playing games or when browsing on web pages or what?

Your best bet is to invest in a laptop cooler. While it would be nice to throttle the GPU, it is just a piece of the heat source puzzle.

As we all know, mainstream laptops are infamous for three weaknesses ... weight, battery life & heat. Fry's just recently had a deal on a notebook cooler ... it wasn't the most trusted cooler, but it was on sale for $7.99 with free shipping.
