3rd party webcam capture software?

It explains that i have an Acer Extensa 5420 running windows vista home premium.
My built in webcam and mic has an application that allows me to view video and take photos but i cant record audio and video.
Then i found out that a clumsy application called livecam.exe exists in the windows folder.
I have moviemaker 6 which no longer supports capture from a webcam.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party webcam capture application that is easy to use. Easy like 1 button to start recording 1 button to stop recording :). Thanks
