Comment:

The workstation service will not start on my
NT Server 4.0 Svc Pack 6a system. I looked in the event viewer and it says "Initialization failed because the requested service redirector could not be started.", Event Id 3113.

When I try to start the service manually using Services, I get: "System cannot find the file specified".

I think this started happening recently, but can't think of any real changes I've made to the system. Any troubleshooting ideas or how to identify which file it can't find?
