Word 97 DLL error in label mail-merge

Comment:
I was trying to load a data source for a mail-merge and the system gave me the error message: "Error in DLL function:MHGetDocumentInfo Error: Error creating filename atom" When I clicked on "OK" it would not let me edit the data, and when I clicked on "merge" all that happened was that the merge options window disappeared. I acknowledge that since this seems to be a DLL problem it might fall outside Word's ambit, but it's the first time I've had anything like it and the same main document merges fine with two other sets of addresses I have, so it would be nice to find out how to fix the problem.
