Winsrv.dll error!

I have received a blue screen on startup with my WinNT WS 4.0. It gives me a "Stop: c0000135" saying that "winsrv.dll" cannot be found. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hi,

This error can occur for any of the following reasons:

1. Winsrv.dll is missing from the %SystemRoot%\system32 directory.

2. If Winsrv.dll exists, the software hive may be corrupted and, therefore, cannot load.

Thanks, Sherlock. I did a search on several things on the Microsoft Support network and the results always came back with "No documents found."

I appreciate the help!
