Winsock Error 10039 on NT Server

Hi All,
I recently installed WinGate v4.0.1 on my NT 4 Server (sp5). The problem that I am having is that none of WinGate's services will run as they are all erroring-out with a Winsock Error 10039. WinGate suggests that I reinstall Winsock on my NT server but it is my understanding that in order to do this I would need to completely uninstall all networking components on the NT Server in order to do this. Is there any other way for me to remedy the Error 10039 without having to completely reinstall networking on my server (I've got two NICs - one for the LAN, one for the Internet connection and having to reinstall all of these settings will be like having to kill an ant with an atom bomb :-) ).
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Look in c:\winnt\system32 and see if there are two winsock.dll's. If there is a winsock.dll and a winsock.old. Rename winsock.dll to something like winsock.xxx then rename winsock.old to winsock.dll. See if that works.
