Winnt shared printer, XP can't use

I have a NT4 workstation computer that have shared a hp printer, the client using win98 and other winnt computer can't share this printer correctly, but recently a staff bring a WINXP Pro notebook back and try to share the printer. But it didn't work. May i ask that how a winXP computer can share winNT4 shared printe?? thank for any help!!!!
