I'm not much of a computer whiz, but i was able to overcome BIOS password on a toshiba portege 3110CT with the loopback pin-connectors. now, i have another one and i tried to do the same but it doesnt work. so i tried to get in by installing the OS, but it says that i am missing the hal.dll file...the problem is that i dont have access to the computer, the OS (because of admin name and password); nor DOS..i think im incredibly binded beyond help, but hoopefully someone can help me out!
