Comment:

When users of Outlook 200 try and send attatchments to non-outlook users(Lotus Notes, Eudora), it appears as a "Winmail.DAT" file. What is that and how can I open the original attatchment? Thanks.

I'm using Lotus Notes and I'm unable to open a winmail.dat file. The file was originated from an Exchange Server. How can I get this fiel to open?

It is caused by the "MS Outlook Rich Text format" turn this off under Tools, options, Mail format and all is well.
