Comment: I'm running windows nt4.0 server. In my event viewer I have a message as follows: "the device,\device\hardisk0\partion1, has a bad block".. What is the best way to handle this..Any help would be appreciated..

Reply: (edit)Well if this were my server I would make sure I have all the data backed up. I would also consider getting another drive. I wouldn't want to take any chances with my data. Would you?

Reply: (edit)Run checkdisc or defragprogramm like diskeeper lite ( free trialversion download ) on the results of that you might consider the solution from 1th replier
