windows NT4 updates

So,
I get NT4 installed, I get my graphics working nice, I install NT4 service pack 6a, I install internet explorer 6,
But when I go to do a windows update, I can’t get in. I tried doing what they suggested in Q243787 and Q193385 but I still cannot get in.

Perhaps if you posted a list of the 'stuff' you need to know about NT we could start?
