The look and feel is the same. NT allows more control over just about every aspect of computing. It also does TRUE multitasking and multithreading, which '98 does not. NT Workstation will operate with one or two CPUs, while Win98 will only do one. NT Server can control as many as 32. Also, both versions of NT allow for way more security. I think those are the highlights. Others might add what they think is important.

We should add that Win98 is less stable than NT is... & if you want to use full multimedia features, take win98; because NT isn't done for that purpose & works really well with professional apps, but not with multimedia as sound... Win98 for Home & Wnnt for Work!
