Comment:

I have a windows 98 (intel PIII) and tried install windows NT server 4.0 At first time I got the follow problem \system32\ntoskrnl.exe is corrupted. So, I tried again and the same error occurred. When I boot my computer I got an OS loader 4.0 display with five options (like this) : Windows NT server 4.0, Windows NT server 4.0[vga mode], Windows NT Server 4.0, windows NT server [vga mode] and Microsoft Windows.
When I choose Windows NT I got \system32\Ntoskrnl.exe is corrupted.

Somebody could help me, sending me the ntoskrnl.exe ?

Somebody knows how to clear OS Loader 4.0 Display, because I have 2 entries to windows nt server 4.0 and windows nt server 4.0 [vga mode] ?

Somebody knows how to set up windows 98 as a default in system boot ?

Any message can be send to my e-mail Bergamini@hotmail.com

Thank you for your help. Carlos.

The file is in the installation cd under \i386 or use the bootpart from systeminternal. To modify the boot menu, boot to NT4 and use system control panel to do so.

To clear entries in OS Loader edit the boot.ini file. Once you are ther you will know what to do.
