I'm having trouble running .aspx (ASP.net) pages on my NT server 4.0 here at work and they won't run. My IIS runs .asp pages just fine, but not ASP.net. I am in the process of reading ASP.net for Dummies and it even tells you at the beginning that you can run it on NT server 4.0 as long as you have IIS and service pack 6a. I downloaded the .NET framework portion of that service pack only, not the entire service pack. Do I have to have the entire service pack? I'm still on 6 not 6a. Somebody help! Has anyone here been able to run ASP.net on an NT system?

Have a re-read of the specs page. Where as the dotnet framework does support NT, ASP.NET pages require W2K or higher to run:

If you can read it says .NET Framework 1.1 is supported on NT4 with sp6a, but not SDK.
So try upgrading to sp6a.
