What was the directory? Was it a program? If so, the proper way to delete a program is to uninstall it. If you didn't do it that way, then of course you will get errors if the machine trys to run the program.

Can you provide a little more detail?

If you deleted from the server the folder and files are in recycle bin. If you deleted via the network the files are gone with no recovery.

They do make undelete software you can load on the server to prevent this from happening

hi...

maybe this helps:

check the registry, hkey local machine if there are any keys called vtuner und delete them.

you also can check the WInnt/Profiles autostart folder if there are
any links to the deinstalled software.

The NT deinstaller is not always working as it should.
