Comment:

I have problem with the Task Schedule service on a NT4.0 Workstation. This service was named before "Schedule" or "Scheduler" and I could set the startup properties for it in the Services applet of control pannel under user account. Now this service is renamed to "Task Schedule " and
when I open up the startup properties for the Task Scheduler service, the "Log on As" section is greyed out. This service now seems to run under a "System" account " only. How I can change this service, to run it under user account.

It always ran under a limited system account.

Post from a nt google query

Using the Control Panel Services applet, change the service account that the scheduler uses to an account that has access

Thanks!
But I can't change the Account at all. The whole "Log on AS" section in Services applet is GREYED OUT. I Can't find any reason whay it is so. And I do not know how to open this section for changes.
