Reply: (edit)Calvin, Can you also try to ping the Domain controller. And if you receive a reply then try remove your computer from the domain and then join it again just by making it a member on a workgroup... Gurkan

Reply: (edit)I'm having the same problem as you have Calvin. Response 1 and 2 did not really answered the question. Response 3 gave us a good site for troubleshooting. I hope someone can help us to solve this problem.

Reply: (edit)Do you know if you have PDC? You must have PDC (Primary Domain Controller) SERVER up and running and make sure that you have a user profile setup for you in order for you to login. It looks like you have a peer to peer setup and no NT 4.0SERVER with PDC to validate your login. Hope this helps.

Reply: (edit)I have been rolling out NT Domain on a number of Win98 PCs at a customer's site. I have just three PCs which won't play ball. I can ping the controller, it also has DHCP, which is working fine and providing these PCs with IP addresses, DNS, gateway etc. It simply can not find the Domain Controller for password verification. I am baffled!
