Hi, there.

I've just started at a college and they're still running NT with XP workstations.

I'm trying to add a new workstation at the moment and I receive the message "The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "concordcollege": The network path was not found"

I've added the computer account to server manager and enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the tcp/ip properties. I can ping the server from the workstation and vice versa.

But I still cannot connect to the domain.

Any help would be very, very gratefully received...

Thanks James

Have you added the Wins entries at the wkst?
Can you ping by name?

No, I haven't entered the WINS server address and no I can't ping by name... I'll try that and let you know.

Thanks for the advice!

Yep, adding the WINS Server address sorted the issue out. Thanks again for your help.
