Hi,

I have a primary hard drive that's 2gigs and I want to install a second hard drive that's 20gigs, is this something that can be done with partition magic?

Why do you want to use partition magic to install a second HDD ?
If Windows does not see it is a 20GB HDD reinstall the last service pack.

I think what is being said is that you can connect the drive normally to the system and use NT to partition and format it. In NT you use Disk Administrator.

You should be on service pack 6a for NT. Otherwise there are no issues with partitioning and formatting a 20gig drive as NTFS. Below service pack 4 there was a issues with only seeing the drive as 8gig.
