Ok, i have seen this problem listed on this site before.

I have followed the fix on microsofts site
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q103/1//04.asp

It takes away the error but still acts like there is one but it is not being displayed.

The error was...

The Win16 Subsystem was unable to enter Protected Mode, DOSX.exe must be in your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in your PATH.

My computer is
Abit KT7 RAID w/ Duron 700
256mb RAM
30gb IBM HDD
3D ProphetII Mx Dual Display 32mb RAM
DVD
CD-RW
SB Live Value...
Dual Boot.. Win98, Win2000

heaps more that dont matter

Daniel.
