If you ghost an image to a machine that has the same hardware, the drivers will already be loaded. If you have different hardware on weach PC then you really should manually install each.

And what soft do you use for this? Is it Norton Ghost or smth else?
If you want managing several comps, corporate backup solution would suite you better. But as far as I know, it's still difficult for Ghost to image to other hardware. As for other tools, acronis corporate software appears to be able to manage this task. At least its universal restore option was announced as a feature that allows users to restore to different hardware. You'd rather clarify this question more precisely though.

You can make NT plug and play (look for isapnp.sys on the cdrom).

If the hardware is the same, ghosting should work, but you need to run ghostwalker over the result to reset computer names, etc. ghostwalker is part of ghost.
