Hi
i don't know how to format the hard disk and what is the difference between
NTFS and FAT32 system. Which is more usefull
please give me more informationRegarfs

To be simple: Both of them are different ways in which the files and folders in your machine are organised. They have a unique structure in which they maintain your data. NTFS is better of the two as it allows directory level security along with compression of your files/folders to increase drive capacity.
NTFS => NT File System (Supported by WinNT & Win2000) => Compression Possible.
FAT32 => Supported by Win98 and Win2000 => Compression not possible
To format a particular drive, you first need to partition it properly. Then boot using a bootable floppy or CDROM and run the FORMAT command to format the drive.
For Eg.: After partitioning your 20 GB hard drive into 3 partitions, say as C: => 4 GB, D: => 10 GB and E: => 6 GB using the FDISK utility available with Win98, you boot the machine from a Win98 Startup disk and run the command FORMAT C: /U
Note: In this example, all the drives will be created as FAT32 drives and NT 4.0 will not be able to read from them unless you have utilities to do the same.Please treat this answer as a general one, since it is very difficult to give a reply to your case in a specific way as your question is not detailed.
