I have 2 NT PDC, and both call up 224.0.1.24 on UDP port 24 every 40 minutes. Where does this come from ??

You aren't supposed to even be able have to PDC's on one domain, maybe you should demote one to a BDC?

Hi, i see you have a part of your answer there but i'am curious what is broadcasting from your PDC's? Have you narrowed down the app or prog? Sounds like a client has an open app that's making calls through the servers in constant connect mode.

224.0.1.24 is the address that a WINS server uses to configure automatic replication between WINS servers. The default is every 40 minutes. If your routers do not support multicasting than automatic replication will only work on the local subnet. Change the registry enrty UseSelfFndPnrs to 0.
