Comment:

I have a weird dot in the upper left page of the desk top.
Once I was able to drag into the center on the desk top.
Anyone know what is it?

Right mouse click on it and go to properties.

Roger :

The "mouse right click" is not functioning on this weird dot.
Only when the cursor is away from it, then I get the properties for the desk top.

Interesting. Can you look in your Desktop folder in Explorer and see the file? If so try to access the properties that way.

Actually there one folder on D drive without any name. It can't be deleted and it contains sub-folder that "does not exits". meaning: Any command on that sub-folder will be result with an error.

I know someone that has the exact symptom and he couldn't find what it is.

Hmmm, it may be time for an anti-virus program.

Both Macafee and Norton have not found any viruses.

I belive it is related with the sevice pack 6a or the active desk-top.
