VPN error 781

Hi all when one member of staff dial into my server they get a message Erro 781 encryption attempt failed no valid certificate was found. This only happens to one person the server is a NT4 SP6

That just happened to me...Everyone trying to get in would get that exact message. They had been able to get in just fine before. I had to re-flash an image to my firewall, and all was well.

I had the same problem running a W2K VPN. This was for a non profit company, so to say the least we could not afford the cost of a static IP. This I believe is where the problem comes from. I had no problem accessing the VPN for about 24 hours, then I got the error 781 from any computer I tried. I uninstalled the RRAS stuff and reinstalled only to get the same thing every time. I then downloaded a free program from www.dns2go.com that enabled me to give my server a static IP (domain name). Now when I go to MY_VPN.DNS2GO.COM, it resolves to my VPN server IP. Like I say this solved my problem!! Good Luck
