My computer was recently infested with several different forms of spyware at once. It all game in about a dozen or so forms, downloading things like PowerSearch and Begin2Search, as well as others. I've tried to remove these with Adaware and Spybot, but they kept coming back.

So I was going to try a file removal in Safe Mode. However, now when I restart my computer, as soon as the Windows exe file comes, I get a line of text that looks like "e l k h i j l m n o p...." and so on down the alphabet, followed by a lot of symbols.

Is this a problem I can fix without formatting the computer? Thanks in advance.
