You do need to install Anti Virus software on your NT server. It can be affected in just the same way as any PC or server. There are a number of different companies out there who provide virus protection software but Norton and McAfee are the most widely known.

Kashif, your understanding is incorrect. Any system is vulnurable to virus infection. If you're running in a workplace environment, Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition is a good choice.

Kashif, Any NTFS partition can be infected just as easily as any FAT or FAT32 can. You might not necessarily need to install any antivirus on it, it depends on how it is used. I only install AV on pc's that connect to the web, require any removable disk reads, or have any folders shared.
