Comment:
What would happen if i increased my virtual memory size to its maximum. Would it be a waste of disk space and slow the system down?

You certainly could waste disk space and slow the system down. But why not accurately size your pagefile according to how the system is using it?
If you go to NT diagnostics [off the admin menu] then click on the memory tab. What you want to monitor is the max used. Longer you are up and the more apps you run at the same time will display a more accurate max used stat. Round this stat up and set your min and max pagefile to this figure.
