hi
im trying to find a Video Driver for a Esprit 100B Laptop, it has windows NT on it, and we are having problems with the Screen Resolution and only letting me have 16colours on it.
i have downloaded a number of different drivers for NT, but none of these are working, ive also tried win98 drivers that i have got, and none of these are doing the trick.
does anyone know where i can get a Good Video Driver for a Esprit 100B Laptop with windows NT on it please??
Thanks

If the colors drop as you raise your resolution it's
most likely cause your screen can't handle it!,how
high can the color depth go at 640x480?,as for
video drivers......,I've had four laptops(powerbook
540cs,nec versa, toshiba tecra and now an ibook
combo drive and I've never had to use a video
card driver!,not even now on my ibook and I'm
running mac os 9.2.2,mac os 10.1.5,win98,win nt
4.0 sp6,and redhat 7.3,the reason being cause
unlike desktops a notebooks bios and
motherboard are usually made specificly for the
hardware they ship with, and notebooks never
have video card upgrades so basicly what I'm
trying to say is this....it's not win nt that's limiting
your choices,it's the notebook limiting your win nt
choices!,all you really need do is this........set your
resolution to 640x480,and see how high you can
set your color,if it goes higher than 16colors
you've been trying to force setting that you simply
can't use, after trying that put it to 800x600 and see
how high the color depth goes, lastly put it
1024x768,if it drops back down to 16 colors you
can't run as high as you'd like too!
