Comment: Lost my drive on a NT4.0 server. I do have a BDC. I was wondering if I can copy any files over from the BDC so I do not have to re-enter about 120 users with all of their rights. I have the PDC up and running again.

Reply: (edit)I'm confused. Need more detail. You say you have the PDC up and running again. If so, your accounts should be there. Unless you mean that you reinstall the OS and created a new PDC. If so, you did it wrong. What you should have done was promote the BDC to a PDC, then install the new OS as a BDC and you would have been fine. So a little more detail is needed to answer your question.

Reply: (edit)He is correct, promote your BDC to a PDC and then bring up your dead machine as a BDC. You can then promote that machine to PDC if you still want it to be your PDC.

Reply: (edit) Yes, I did reinstall. The PDC has to be at a certain location with the BDC's in three other towns. From your replies Jeremy has answered my question. I was not sure if the login accounts would come across automatically. Thanks for you help.
