Lost my drive on a NT4.0 server. I do have a BDC. I was wondering if I can copy any files over from the BDC so I do not have to re-enter about 120 users with all of their rights. I have the PDC up and running again.

I'm confused. Need more detail. You say you have the PDC up and running again. If so, your accounts should be there. Unless you mean that you reinstall the OS and created a new PDC. If so, you did it wrong.

What you should have done was promote the BDC to a PDC, then install the new OS as a BDC and you would have been fine. So a little more detail is needed to answer your question.

He is correct, promote your BDC to a PDC and then bring up your dead machine as a BDC. You can then promote that machine to PDC if you still want it to be your PDC.

Yes, I did reinstall. The PDC has to be at a certain location with the BDC's in three other towns. From your replies Jeremy has answered my question. I was not sure if the login accounts would come across automatically. Thanks for you help.
