Hi. We are running on NT 4.0 Server’s on SP6 with the clients running on Win 98 and using IE 5. I have a got web sweeper running on one of the BDC’s.
For the last couple of days users keep on getting locked out of there accounts even if they are still logged on to the network. The users only find out when they try to start the Internet and they get asked for their network logon and password, thus the accounts are locked.
Does anyone know why this keeps on having and how we can fix it ?

Is there a service that logs on automatically using the users domain account? i.e ODBC links. If the users have recently changed their passwords then their accounts would be locked out if the service keeps retrying to log in, but they will still be logged into the network until they disconnect
