Comment:
How do I allow a user to log onto Windows NT 4.0 Server without making them an administrator or making them a domain administrator?

In the local users group on the machine, merely add the domain users group. It should be setup like that when you make a machine part of a domain.
Best of luck, Chase

Or, if you want to be explicit, go into usermanager, find menuitem policies, user tights, select "Log on locally" from the dropdown and choose your domain user or group from there. One tip, eluded to in previous post, it's easier to manage groups rather than individual users.

One further tip: Users should not be allowed to log onto your servers. Bad practice.
Users should be allowed to log onto all workstations, but only admins should be allowed on the servers.
And yes, I was alluding to the group issue, I just didn't say it straight out :)
